ROLAND FP-30X BK Digital Piano

ROLAND FP-30X BK is a modern digital piano in classic black, combining a realistic hammer-action keyboard, expressive sound and versatile connectivity. It is suitable for learning, daily practice, home playing, rehearsals and small performances.

With its compact design and weight of just 14.8 kg, the instrument is easy to move and transport. It can also be installed on a dedicated stand for a more traditional piano setup.

Realistic keyboard experience

The ROLAND FP-30X BK features an 88-key PHA-4 Standard keyboard with full-size keys and hammer action. The Escapement function reproduces the feel of an acoustic piano mechanism, while the ivory-feel key surface provides a comfortable and secure playing experience.

The keyboard responds accurately to playing dynamics, allowing musicians to control everything from subtle, soft passages to powerful accents.

SuperNATURAL Piano sound

The FP-30X uses Roland's SuperNATURAL Piano sound engine, designed to provide a natural and expressive piano playing experience.

The instrument offers 56 built-in tones:

• 12 piano tones;

• 20 electric piano tones;

• 24 additional tones.

With 256-note polyphony, the FP-30X can handle complex pieces, sustained notes, pedal use and layered sounds smoothly.

Powerful built-in speakers

The Roland FP-30X features two built-in 12 cm speakers with 2 × 11 W amplification. This provides enough volume for home practice, rehearsals and small performances.

Stereo outputs are available for connecting the piano to an external sound system.

For quiet practice, the instrument provides two headphone connections: 3.5 mm and 6.3 mm.

Flexible playing and learning modes

The keyboard includes several modes for different playing situations:

• Whole — standard full-keyboard operation;

• Dual — layers two tones together;

• Split — divides the keyboard into two sections;

• Twin Piano — divides the keyboard into two identical pitch ranges, making it convenient for lessons and playing with another musician.

A built-in metronome and transpose function are also included.

Bluetooth connectivity

Bluetooth Audio allows music to be streamed wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet through the piano's speakers or headphones. This is useful for playing along with backing tracks, listening to educational materials and following online lessons.

Bluetooth MIDI provides wireless connection to compatible music and educational applications.

The FP-30X can also be used with popular music software and applications, including GarageBand and Zenbeats.

USB and computer connectivity

The USB Type-A port allows connection of a USB flash drive for working with SMF MIDI files and WAV/MP3 audio files.

The USB Type-B port provides connection to a computer and MIDI data exchange, making the piano suitable for recording and music production.

Compact design and expandable setup

The ROLAND FP-30X BK features a clean and versatile black finish. Its dimensions of 1300 × 284 × 151 mm make it easy to place even in rooms with limited space.

For a stationary setup, the piano can be paired with the KSC-70 stand. Pedal functionality can be expanded with the KPD-70 three-pedal unit or DP-10 damper pedal.
